Anne Fadullon is the City’s Director of Planning and Development.  The Department of Planning and Development makes sure Philadelphia has well-planned neighborhoods, with affordable housing options and access to public art. They oversee historic preservation to honor the City’s unique history, help developers move their projects forward, create citywide and neighborhood plans, and implement zoning.

The department also includes the:

  • Art Commission
  • Philadelphia City Planning Commission
  • Developer Services
  • Division of Housing and Community Development
  • Historical Commission
  • Zoning Board of Adjustment

The department partners with:

  • Philadelphia Housing Development Corporation
  • Philadelphia Land Bank
  • Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority.  

Anne Fadullon oversees agencies charged with creating and implementing strategies to grow Philadelphia’s population and economic base with vibrant neighborhoods, affordable housing options, historic resources, and well-designed public spaces.

Anne has nearly 30 years of real estate development experience. She most recently worked at the Dale Corporation developing affordable, mixed-income, market-rate and mixed-use projects. She is a past president of the Building Industry Association of Philadelphia and previously worked at the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority.

Anne has a bachelor’s degree in urban studies and economics from Lehigh University and a master’s degree in city planning from the University of Pennsylvania.
